The New Year is a great time to start searching for new positions, but it will be competitive so make sure you nail the interview.

September and October are excellent times to job search because summer vacations are winding down and energy is picking up in many offices. Seasonal work increases in the autumn months as companies prepare for the holiday season. If you’re looking for work in a less seasonal industry, September and October are also good times to find a career because many managers want a candidate trained before the holidays.

Although many job seekers are commonly told not to search for jobs during the holidays, it is actually a great time to start a career search!
